This beach is covered with sand, like most other popular beaches and unlike its sister beach, Great Lameshore Bay.
This beach may be as secluded as its sister, since the road access is not paved, steep and winding. A hike from the main roads takes about 15 minutes. Taxis will not head down to this beach and if you intend to drive, make sure you have a 4×4 – AND – check to see if the rental car company allows travel on the road to this beach.
There are portable toilets on the beach and some picnic tables. This beach is a nice secluded beach that will let you get away from the crowds of the North Shore beaches.
This long, white sand beach also offers good snorkeling, especially towards Yawzi Point.
There are also plantation ruins within a five minute hike.
