Limestone East Beach

Water Island

Tucked within Limestone Bay on Water Island this beach offers nice soft, white sand comapred to the rockier Limestone Beach that most people visit within the same bay. The other beach can be hiked to through an easy path through the woods. This one requires a bit more effort. You can swim from Limestone across the shallow Bay or if you're super adventurous you can kayak from Frenchtown through the East Gregerie Channel between Water and Hassel Islands.

Limestone East has some awesome snorkeling and fish you like the deeper waters on this side of the Bay. From the beach you can look out across the Bay towards Limestone Rocks to watch the waves crashing over them while digging your toes in the sand. One of the cooler and more unique features of this beach is the large rock on the western side that you can climb on. And hidden behind this rock and a tree is a tiny little pocket beach that's super cool!
