Honeymoon Beach

Water Island

Honeymoon Beach is a beatiful white sand beach lined with palm tress in a calm cove on the western side of Water Island. Being on Water Island, which is sometimes called the 4th U.S. Virgin Island due to its size, you have great views to the north of Crown and St. Peter mountains on St. Thomas. You also get awesome views towards the west of some of the islands that lay off the coast of St. Thomas and you get great sunsets! The beach was a large area set aside for swimming with a swim up platform to put your drinks on. There is also a volley ball court, pickle ball, beach chairs, and so many more activities.

Getting to Honeymoon Beach requires first getting to Water Island. You can get to Water Island by taking the ferry from Crown Bay Marina or if you're adventurous kayak over from nearby the French Town Marina or Lindberg Bay. Once on water island Honeymoon Beach is not hard to find. From the ferry dock walk up the hill until you see the road start to head down hill and you can easily see Honeymoon down below. You'll also see Dinghy's Beach Bar where you can get drinks, food, and listen to live music when playing.
